Student-Staff Registration

We are pleased to announce a major collaboration between Pickens Urgent Care and Pickens County School District. Since early diagnosis is key in a pandemic, we will test for Rapid Strep, Covid-19, Influenza A & B, and RSV. Furthermore, we will provide telehealth medical services which will allow for students and faculty to receive health services at school.

To enroll in our program, parents will need to register the student online and e-sign a HIPAA and a Minor consent form. Both forms are available at school or by downloading from the following links.

COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

Pickens Urgent Care, with parent authorization, can administer the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to students aged 12 years and older. Likewise, the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine will be available for any individuals 18 years or older. Appointments are available at a school near you. If you choose to do this, contact your child’s school nurse.

How does it work?

Student Registration

1.     Visit our website www.pickenscare.com and click Student Registration at the top of your screen.

2.     Please follow the steps carefully as skipping any step will delay the process.

3.     Submit your general information.

4.     If using a smart phone or tablet, take a picture of your ID picture (front only) and insurance card (front and back) when prompted.  If using a home computer upload these documents when prompted.

5.     E-sign HIPAA and Minor consent forms.

6.     Based on your insurance you may be re-directed to another webpage to complete registration.

7.     You should receive a successful registration email.  Please check your spam or junk folder as well.  If you do not please call 706-692-0696.

Financial Assistance

Do you have health insurance? If not, don’t worry! Nobody will be denied health services due to financial difficulties.
