Main provider
Victoria H. Thedford, MD — Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
Dr. Victoria Thedford is an Atlanta native with more than 20 years of experience caring for adults and children in internal medicine and pediatrics. She earned her bachelor's degree at Clark Atlanta University, followed by a master's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics and her medical degree at Wayne State University. After completing a four-year combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, she returned home to Georgia to care for families in her community.
Medicine has always felt like a calling to her. She believes that good care begins with listening, treating people with kindness, and helping them understand their health. A two-week medical mission to Liberia was one of the most meaningful experiences of her life and strengthened her commitment to serving others. Whether discussing prevention, managing an ongoing condition, or addressing a new concern, she wants patients to feel heard and comfortable asking questions.
Outside the office, she enjoys time with her four grown children and three granddaughters, along with reading, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She warmly welcomes adults, children, and families from Decatur and the surrounding communities to Pickens Urgent Care & Primary Care. She would be honored to get to know them, earn their trust, and help care for them and their families.
